That's why they beta test these things with limited rollouts.
If you think about it, this is the first time Glock released a new model on someone else's schedule.
I guess it's *possible* that they happened to be designing a model that exactly fit the FBI RFP exactly when it was needed, but my guess is that they ran this through a skunkworks program that didn't include the years of QC they typically run a new model through.

People on here still try to sell gen3 Glocks for $500+....god forbid they have the rtf2 with gills, then they want $650. I was told by some guys at Glock that the MSRP is going to be in the $650 range. The 19M & 17M will be at shot show, but from what they said, there are already departments that carry them
