So my wife and I are doing yard work in the backyard and she almost steps on the copperhead in pic. We ALWAYS carry, so i pulled the glock 42 (thats what i threw in my pocket before heading out for yardwork) from my pocket and stepped back and popped em. You can see where the lil .380 spilled out his guts. Be careful doing yardwork fellas. Dont wanna step on this guy.

I got small kiddos and dogs too so not taking any chances with copperheads hangin around.
 
I don't want to steal your post but, If you hadn't seen my post on July 4th, this was next to the steps in my backyard. I'm just glad my wife wasn't out there at the time. Pellet gun at 25ft took care of this Timber Rattler. He or She was 4'2".
Like someone said, look around out there and be careful.
