http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journalism/2013/03/23/Nightline-Glock-Handguns-Are-The-Problem

Throughout the segment, every time legal uses of a Glock were highlighted, the anchor made sure to point out facts like "Congressman Gabby Giffords was shot by a Glock in Tuscon," and "Adam Lanza carried a Glock into Sandy Hook Elementary."

Nightline's criticism then turned to Glock's police firearm trade-in program: a program Nightline admitted is "perfectly legal."

This program allows a law enforcement officer to trade in his or her old Glock for a newer one. Although this is a tremendous, money-saving benefit for police officers and police departments throughout our country, Nightline's report on it focused on how the old guns are then sold "on the open market."

Throughout the commercial, the Nightline anchor interrupted to interject statements like: "In the real world, one study found that women living with a gun are almost 3 times more likely to be shot to death."

Did Nightline stop to think about how sexist this claim was before they made it? The implication is that women either don't know how or aren't even capable of handling a gun.

That B.S. quote of 3 times more likely was from a biased "study" by Dr. Author Kellermann (Staff at Emory University), funded from grants of our tax money. It was published through the CDC and was part of the reason CDC had their funding stopped by Congress. It was conducted in the ghetto and after refusing to provide his data initially, finally did.

Myth #7: http://www.drgo.us/?page_id=20

The original study made a ludicrous claim that even the naive questioned that if you have a gun (men and women) you are 40 something times more likely to injured by your gun. Under scrutiny even his own flawed data could not support such an outlandish claim. He conceded and it was lowered to something like 17 times more likely to injured a still flawed conclusion that ignored instances where a gun was used but no shots were required, the more often occurrence. The study included suicides and ignores that suicide is not a result of a gun but a mental condition and it can be accomplished without a gun. See Japan (no civilian firearms) with the highest suicide rate of the world.

Kellermann was the most prolific anti-gun propaganda creationist who was funded by tax money (grants) and he is from here in Atlanta, staff at Emory. Obama, MAIG, VPC, Brady and the other clowns want him back on our dime once again.... They are working hard for it. It will be in one of the bills that are currently being pushed.

This is three pages but outlines why CDC had their funding taken but returned for other research (spinal injury I think). The war being fought is in the name of "Public Safety".

The odd thing is the CDC used strict criteria (not the B.S. Kellermann spewed) and has reported that it cannot find any evidence that gun-control laws reduce violent crime. So let's just ignore it and get Kellermann like data to support an anti-gun agenda with public money. That is an executive order.
