GLOCK OR TAURUS

My Glock 36 was an absolute jam o matic no matter what ammo I tried or who I let shoot it. Couldn’t go an entire mag without one FTE. Took it to Glock and didn’t tell them what I had, just told them the problem and the tech knew immediately that it was a 36. Told me all I needed to know. They repaired it, but a week later started doing it again so I traded it in at the lgs for something else.

Not of the shake and shoot kind they don't

I am pretty sure there has been 1. The point is, we can google and literally find anything that we could ever imagine. If you can think it, it's happened somewhere...

There are no widespread issues with the G2/G2C. It is very well reviewed, for years, and it's reputation is stellar. A great gun that punches well above it's price tag.

Gun guys aren't the most forgiving folks on the planet, they tend to be overly stubborn and set in their ways... Hell, I still see some folks griping from time to time how S&W copied the Glock with their Sigma line of pistols... It's been 20+ years, get over it. The Sigma is actually a good pistol for the money, utterly reliable, even if the trigger is a bit gritty. They borrowed design elements from Glock, so what? That's a good design to copy! But because people didn't LIKE that, they would tell you it was crap, or junk. Not true...

I like Glock, I respect them, I own a couple and carry one. But if someone wants to save a few bucks and still get a carry gun that they can feel confident in carrying, the G2C is really hard to beat. Same size as the G26 roughly, with far superior ergos. The G26 sucks, it has the ergonomics of a an elephant turd... Short, squat, and disproportionately wide, etc... The G2C is 12+1, adjustable sights, much thinner and it goes bang every time, and also has the benefit of double strike capability in the event of a hard primer, plus it also shoots either CZ75 or Beretta 92 mags... I forget which...

I have had the TH9, several PT92's, the TCP, the PT845 and at least a dozen revolvers... Never had issues. The one that I did, was one of their 1911's, but I am almost positive that the buy that sold it to me here on ODT, knew it was broken when he sold it. I had the ambi safety replaced and all was good.

I know that the older milleniums... trash. The Spectrum seems hit or miss. But their revolvers are solid and they put a lot of effort into the G2 line and it shows. They also changed management and really overhauled their QC dept and that made a big difference.
