Glock scratches- voice your opinion

I just got a Glock 29 10mm and it has quite a few scratches that appear to go down to bare metal. I know… “it’s a tool” blah blah blah. I like to keep my stuff looking nice. I know there are a few options when it comes to refinishing like cerakote and Durakote. I guess I’m just Wondering what the most durable of the two would be. One of my main concerns is the rust that could form as a result of the bare metal being exposed. Maybe one of you Glock connoisseurs could lead me in the right direction.

This is a lipseys gun and not some Bubbad cote job and it is still wearing off. It doesn't rust ( or hasnt) this one has been like this for years

I figured, it just bugs me. Had a bunch of different glocks and haven’t had scratches to this extent, I guess it’s just been other material wearing on it
