There are good deals on here all the time. Buy one and try it out - if you don't like it you won't lose more than $25 or $50 at most. If you buy right, you'll break even or make a few bucks. I'd go with a 26 or 19 as they seem to be the easiest to resell.

Glocks fall into the category of "tools" as much as any gun. They are good, reliable, self defense tools. I own them, carry them and feel confident with them. They may not be my prettiest or even my favorite all around guns, but they are the ones I carry, and for that purpose they are my favorite.

1911's are cool to show your friends. Glocks are cool to show your enemies.

Why would I talk you out of it? Not a chance.
