FALSE. you can legally own one, you just cant go buy one on a DD4473. look up ga state code.

Just spend the money and buy a Wilson Combat 1911. Glock reliability, better trigger and better looking. Only 5 times more.

Well I rarely cleaned my Wilson's and shot the one in the pic weekly. They literally feed everything and don't require the same attention most of the cheaper 1911's do. At least that's been my experience with the 3 I've owned so far.

I have Glocks and 1911s and both have their place. The Glocks are good for shooting the GSSF and the 1911s fit well as my choice of carry weapons. I feel more comfortable shooting a 1911 vs. a 30 or 36. Glock won't allow me to shoot my 1911 in the GSSF.
