thats cool. hadnt thought about paint for em before.
Just remember they always have to be recharged... I think you get 8 hrs total..from bright>not so bright.

I just done this, but on Glow Inc's web site they say its 24 hrs of glow. Its been 2 hours since application and it stil has a dim glow to it. Thats after hitting it with light for about 30 seconds if that.
You know about the clearcoat over it?
CZ ships some guns with this on it. If you hit it with a bright light it's very good in the dark for 15 min then OK for another 1/2 hour then very dim for a bit more then just like any other site.
Yeah I was thinking clear nail polish unless you suggest something else.

Hate to revive an old thread, but how long did this last? Where did you buy it from?
Phosphorescent paints usually glow well for maybe 30-45 minutes, they loose the charge at a greater rate early in glow, they get dim (or non usable) typically pretty fast.
as long as the weapon is in like an open end holster and carried on a belt type holster uncovered during daylight then they work great.
if carried covered I wouldn't count on usable nite light for more than 30-45 minutes.
True they may glow for hours but at such a low intensity that they are not practically usable for long periods.
