Wanted to stay away from the other thread these were brought up in. Has anyone purchased these? If so was it for gold investment, future currency uses, or just because they look neat?
I have thought about getting some but not sure if the best practical bang for buck for fractional gold is this or 1/10 oz or even the pamp small pieces

I am a gold and silver stacker(not an investor) and I would not buy them currently.

You will be paying about double over spot, so for investment purposes under current conditions not a great investment. Maybe when gold hits $10,000 per ounce.....

Gotcha. So then what are you buying in gold? I pretty much just have silver but wanted to start adding in some gold. Only thing I do have is a 1/10 eagle

for fractional gold i would start with 1/4 oz or just save until you can buy 1/2 or full oz or look at bars 5-10 gram 999.
ive gotten some pretty decent deals on 10 gram gold bars

look at vintage world coins also sometimes they can be cheaper per gram than bars or eagles

For stackers it’s not meant for that. It’s meant to actually be used (small local businesses in those states) I have about $500 worth of goldbacks I didn’t buy to stack but to admire the art detail they are absolutely stunning!
