I was once selling a marlin model 60 and some marlin bolt action rifle on here. Some dude with good feed back asked to meet and make a deal. I met him where he wanted and I was early. He checks them out and then asks to see my id….. I out of respect for an elder I show him my id, can you believe this fa—GOT took a picture of my license…. he is probably dead by now, it was pre- ko-vid.

I had a guy once whom I sold a VZ2008
Once we met he insisted on seeing my carry permit. I agreed then I said I want to see yorus.
He had some badge from Keystone cops or similar , said this is my permit.
In retrospect I should have said **** you

She'll let you know about every single one of em..........And lots more you can't even remember. She ain't forgetin any of em......I do think I was a little whiny. I should’ve slept on it longer before posting. I’m way far from being perfect and made a lot of mistakes in my life. Just ask the wifey of 42 years.

Opinion. Does anyone really think that some illegal gun buyer is handing you a legit DL and traceable info? A DL is one of the easiest things to fake these days. Hell, we were faking them in the late 80’s so we could get in to bars. 🤣 unless you have the ability to scan the bar code on a DL you have no way of confirming the info is correct.
