Looking for (actually my daughter is) a good solid folding knife for her boyfriend. I would like to get em a decent knife something tough that will last him. I like the kid cause mainly I have to, I don't love him so remember that when it come to the price!(Insert dirty look from daughter) If you have one or have some suggestions please let us know.

Thanks ........................ Jbum n Cheybum

Good company, but be careful of the budget knives from any company. These are made in Taiwan. They may be good knives, I just hate to see a company get a good reputation and then export the manufacturing for a budget line.

Buck has a good line of made in the USA budget knives. I've carried and used a Buck Bantam 285 for a year now. I stick to the USA made ones, it'll say so under "BUCK" on the blade.

I picked up a folder from this company at a gun show and it seems pretty good:

Of course, you could just go with Case. They're classic and the budget choices are infinite.
