I am probably too late to this "party", but this is the best of the Kershaw Blurs. This is a blem, which means for some cosmetic reason it does not meet up to their high standards. The thing that makes this particular one better is the blade steel used: S30V. I got one by accident, and have been looking for another. This is one of the best knife steels in use today. When I ran across this, I ordered 3: another for me, and one for each of my boys. Typically, these sell in the neighborhood of $90.00.

This. I don't know all that much about blades, but I've had this one for a while and really loved it. Looks to be right in your price range and eligible for free shipping if you spend $35 on Amazon (also offered in an even more 'tacticool' black blade!).
