I guess I will just look around for some injection that sounds good. I have a rub my son makes to put on pork butter that is mighty fine.

Oh yeah, when you inject just go through the muscle. If you put the needle through the skin it will leak out.

I would fire it up and cook a few butts to season it and get the feel for it.

This, don’t let the first cook be the main one with a lot of people there. Fire it up a couple times to get a feel for it even if you aren’t cooking a whole hog.

Killer Hogs Whole Hog Injection:

• 32oz Apple Juice
• 32oz Water
• 1/2 cup Kosher Salt
• 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
• 1/2 cup Lt. Corn Syrup
• 1/4 cup Red Wine Vinegar
• 1/2 cup Dry Rub
• 1 TBS Worcestershire
• 1 TBS soy

I just made up a double batch of this to inject in a 70# pig on the 4th of July!!! I am getting excited and can't wait!!
