Now this does not make much sense to me. 9mm vs .357 mag!!
"The revolver can be converted to 9×19mm Parabellum with a supplied replacement cylinder, however, 9×19mm Parabellum under French law has the status of ammunition of war. Thus, from the early 1980s, production was limited to the versions in .38 Special/.357 Magnum."
I know, but if I had my rathers, I would rather be shot with a 9mm.9mm Parabellum / 9x19mm is a military-issued round. .38 Special / .357 Magnum is not.

Can’t help ya, I didn’t get the extra cylinder.I know, but if I had my rathers, I would rather be shot with a 9mm.
Are you going to shoot it or preserve it?not affordable at all. but worth it if you can, to have one of the best revolvers ever made (so it is said). have to pick and choose where it all goes, but this was a dream gun and I had the opportunity
Did not know that. UnderstandYeah, but that’s not why they make the distinction. Restrictions on military calibers are very common in Europe, as well as Mexico, Central America, and South America. That’s one of the main reasons that .38 Super is so popular with Mexicans.
I didn’t run across any in my search, but decided I wanted a MR 96 in my next lifeThose are awesome guns. I’m on the hunt for an MR88 in .357 Magnum that can be used as the basis for a 3” custom build.
