Probably so, although you'd have to get an old Python before you got bluing as good and its what's inside that counts. The funny thing about that revolver is that, outside the barrel, it would pass for a pinned Smith at a glance.

This is a new Manurhin MR73. It is an uncatalogued variant with a match heavy barrel that is 5 & 3/4 inch long. Ken at Kebco is one of 3 importers for the US and he makes a special request to get these variants from the factory. He said he has brought in about 5 per year for the last 4 years - so as of now, it's one of only 20 in the US. I'm sure he'll continue to request them.
noted for durability and accuracy, these group from the factory at within 20 millimeters at 25 meters, which equates to groups within 8 tenths of an inch at 27 yards. It was selected by the GHIN of France for being able to withstand 150 full magnum rounds a day shot in training. There are examples of MR 73's having shot 90,000 full magnum rounds without degrading accuracy or function.
Just picked up today and have not shot it yet, but I did note that the double action trigger is considerably heavier than the Korth Mongoose. But the trigger is easily user adjustable so I may lighten it up.

Actually at a glance, yes... but the MR73 doesn't have the springs to change if you want to adjust the trigger and hammer. Just take off the grips and there's an allen key in the Traush grips to simply adjust the leaf spring yourself. Not to mention the rollers for the trigger instead of a housed spring against metal. An awesome pistolProbably so, although you'd have to get an old Python before you got bluing as good and its what's inside that counts.
