Got a ticket for expired registration.

Does anyone know if this add points to my license if I pay it? Someone told me that if I fixed the reg, and went to court it would be reduced or dismissed.

It was one my motorcycle, I didnt notice it and I never got the renewal in the mail.

Is it worth going to court, its only $60 ticket if I just pay it.

No worries, happened to me a few times..no points.

Go get the plate taken care of and bring the ticket. I did this and they took care of one on the spot, the other I had to show proof in court and all was dropped.

get reg and just pay the ticket. a lot easier then the trouble of sitting in court all day.

They got me... pulled me over and wished me a Happy Birthday.... I thanked the officer..... so he re-stated the Happy Birthday....a few more times.... I finally asked him why did he pull me over..... apparently there is ZERO grace period after your birthday..... I only got a warning.....

It's not a moving violation. Most DAs will cut you a break if you go in and show you are legal.

GA registrations expire midnight of your birthday......not the month of your birthday.
