Got bored with some sandpaper! Glock 17

Picked up this G17 gen3 used a while back for real cheap. Has a "custom" paint job, and stipple work. I just wanted it as a supressor host beater gun.

This is where the sandpaper comes into play. About 20 hours later...

Started with a sandblast, then 320, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000, 3000, 0000 steel wool, and finally Flitz. Not perfect, but good enough for my 1st time polishing a slide.

Figure I could get my "tree-fidy" investment back if I needed to...lol

Next step when your finger tips heal up is mask
off serrated area and spray black. After ample
dry time sand raised serrations back shiny. wallah!
Oh yea, remove masking tape.

I like that...took it to the range today. It needs a new op-rod spring

Got one and tried it...wouldn't cut through the crappy metal finish.
