You also need a sling. In my old unit, the M16A4 DMR rifles had the barrel side mount sling attachment point. That was what was used. You may need to look for that piece as well.

I've actually got a M14A4 3 point sling around here somewhere back when I had one issued to me. I'll have to dig around.
