Got some steel back in the ground!!

well.. i got blasted for talking about shooting a neighbors dog after it killed some of our animals... but i guess its OK, do what you do... i just see it as a unnecessary cruelty. traps and snares are a no go for me... i have no respect for them...
Soooo... Whats the difference?

cool... you ever stick your hand in one and set it off? i bet it feels real good...
like i said, seems cruel...
I have. Finger. No broken bones. Traps are designed correctly. They don’t break bones. Why they’re called leg HOLD traps. Not to mention coyotes are not native to Georgia.

I don’t fault you for killing another’s pet if it killed yours.

One time a few years back, my child had his cell phone stolen from his backpack. Turns out someone took it and buried it on the playground of the elementary school they attended with the intent to retrieve it later. I was able to locate the phone with iCloud and ring it. I told my wife I was going to keep it a secret that I had the phone and that only I and the perp knew where to find it, but also told her I was going to bury a Bridger #3 where I found it and wait to hear about it on the news or watch from the parking lot. To this day I still think it is one of the best ideas I have ever had and kinda regret being talked out of it, but was told that kind of activity would be considered illegal and I'm not into jail time.

I did watch from the parking lot as the class thug casually walked over and sat on the bench where I found the phone and slowly started rooting for his intended prize. The video I provided was enough for his suspension. Maybe my wife was right...but I still think about the shock that would have struck that dude when his guilty hand hit that dirt!!! 🤣😂🤣

Some years back I had a buddy call and ask if I had a bear trap. I asked what for and unfortunately no. He said he had a guy on trail cam walking his dog/trespassing on his hunting property. Sent me the pic. The guy clearly saw the camera and left. I told him for the love of God man you can’t bear trap a human anymore! This isn’t the 1800s! I told him by the time he got done with the legal fees from the maimed individual he would have wished he never thought of it. Plus the guy could have easily stole the cam since it was an old style on a memory card yet he didn’t. I agree on your part though the kid would have learned a valuable lesson after that!!!

Ace Hardware in Blue Ridge has one. Every time I go in there I want to buy it just to hang on the wall.
