I sell on eBay, including gun things.

It's all about how you word it. As an example, last year I purchased a MAK-90 thumb hole stock at a flea market for $5. I originally listed it on eBay as MAK-90 thumb hole stock and it was removed within a few hours for being a "banned assault weapon".

Relisted the next day as 7.62x39 thumb hole stock and it sold no problem. Was never removed after the fact. Also, eBay is really bad about "removing" things after the fact and IIRC, you get reimbursed for the fees. At least I did the last time I had it happen.

Yea, but it's great for moving stuff that I'd have no chance of selling locally. Lots of CA and NY buyers will pay top dollar for a lot of things, not just gun stuff.

They can reverse the sale after the fact, leaving you without the money or the part. One reason I simply don't sell gun parts on eBay.

I sell on eBay too and have done so for years. I just hate the way they do things at times, but it's their site and we have to put up with it if we're gonna use it.

EBAY is so hit or miss. Why can I buy upper and lower parts kits, barrels, stocks, grips, bolt carrier groups and flash suppressors all day long. Cannot find an upper or a drum mag, I can find all kinds of adult toys and explicit movies in the adult section. Why can't they put the offending items in the adult section for the big boys?
