Gotta say, baby yotes are kinda cute...

They are the only wild animals that kill for fun, and they are not native to Georgia. I shoot everyone I see. Have never been in your situation OP but I still would like to think I would have sent the pups to be with mama.
Domesticated dogs and cats kill for fun, and so do people, kill all those as well under the same premise?

They have taken several pets in our neighborhood this past couple weeks. One right on a leash.

No love lost for a dead aggressive yote. Or dog. Or anything. And I damn well know what the pups would be in 3 months. But felt like a conservation where people can see em and learn is a good median. If a conservation didn't take em, they would be dead.
My neighbor texted me this morning that her small cat was missing and they can't find her anywhere.
They're not from around here and I didn't have the heart to tell her the cat was probably an hors d'oeuvre for a pack of coyotes.

That's nature, and coyotes are here to stay. They out competed their competitors and carved out a niche in this ecosystem. That's how nature works. You can't fault them for being good at their jobs. I've had several pets killed by yotes, that's just how it is.

My favorite cat ever was killed by coyotes, and I still don’t hate them. It’s not personal, they’re just surviving.

Rest in peace, Buffy.

But they still needed to go. Momma attacked my jack this morning in my back yard, leaving 7 pups behind. I did find a conservation willing to take the pups.

My pup will be fine as well. Got lucky. Barely missed her liver and I was out with them. She's on pain killers and all sorts of stuff, so not very happy atm.

I didn't even know what these pups were, I have never seen a coyote in my life.
