When is Government NOT over reaching any more????
SMDH! I wish that man and his family the best. I've always heard "you can't fight City Hall", but damned if I wouldn't try.
Man has a right to live on his property the way he wants. His place looks a hell of a lot better and safer than some of the government housing that I've seen. Wish him all the best.
the problem the city has is he doesn't rely heavily upon them and pay extra taxes on utilities,
i had a teacher whom used a wood burning furnace to heat his house in winter and the gas company came out to make sure his meter was working because is bill was so low.
look at your electric, gas, and water bills then subtract all the taxes added to it and see how much of the resource you actually are paying for vs extra fees and taxes.

And permits, inspection, and other fees. The Man's not happy when his palm isn't getting greased.
I betcha there are also city officials that are either relatives or associates that work at the utilities or provide contractor services for either both.
I hope he sues the **** out of that city and wins and makes them mother****ers go bankrupt!
