First I don’t know if this is ALLOWED to post or discuss… IF NOT I APOLOGIZE PLEASE DELETE ! but my grandfather passed at 98 Veteran of the 82nd Airborne.
In his attic was a wooden ammo box with the following items mind you some are not shown “For very Specific Reasons” !!
Daggers, Flags, Medals, Pins, Banners, 38h Sauer pistol, death 💀 caps, German letter signed by Goebbels, etc

My question is what comes of these things and are they of any value ??

It looks like all of that stuff is real. If so, it's worth quite a bit of money. Especially the Luftwaffe dagger. I was a VERY amateur collector years ago. The NSDAP armband looks to be in amazing shape, so much so, most people will think it's a reproduction. The Iron Cross is a 2nd class award, and is very common, but still worth decent money. If you have the paper envelope that the Iron Cross came in, it's worth a lot more money. If you have "capture" papers for this stuff, then this collection will be worth a lot more money.

OP, take all the pictures you want, no one is going to care about swastikas here. These are historical items, and you want to know what they are, and about how much they are worth. I don't know the market values at the moment. But I should be able to tell you what the item is, and how common or uncommon it was for that time period.

All valuable. I'd get quotes from a couple places to get an idea of value and then get it insured. You could also look on line at auctions and dealers who specialize in these things. Many times forums such as this can give you good info and ball park pricing.

You may want to check your homeowner's policy to see if you can insure them, maybe even on a separate rider. I have most of my stuff on separate "collectible" policies. This unique part of your family history can never be replaced and I don't think it would bring "life changing" money, so I humbly suggest you think hard before selling it. Once it's gone it's gone, and eventually so will the money be you get from it. Good luck!
