You just cook it in the husk, it don't dry out like it would if you shucked it first. Been doing it this way for years and it's awesome.Hard for me to tell - are you burning the husks off or just roasting them in the husk?

Just cook it till it gets black all the way around without burning therough the husk.Thanks, I'll give it a try.
It shucked super easy. I didn't do anything to it at all. It would flare up every now and then and you just roll it over a few times. I think it cooked for around 20mins.
I soak the corn in water for an hour or two...do NOT peel. Grill about 20 minutes (depending on how hot the coals are), turning every 5 min or so.
After off the grill, cut off the bottom and push the corn cob out of the husk.
No silk !!!
