gun cleaning bench / work station

Looking to build a gun cleaning bench / work station in my basement for gun cleaning and minor gunsmithing. Curious to see what you guys have, any lessons learned, etc.

I'm thinking of a work area with peg board in the back, overhead light, padded and/or clothed working surface, gun vice on one end, etc.

Thoughts????

Google. Harbor Freight reloading bench. I picked up one and modified it to my liking.

I built my bench on plan#1 as well and stained it. It is a great setup.

How ever much room you think you need, add a third to it.

Harbor freight has a good looking solid wood top bench for $120-140. If I has the space, that's what i would get
