Gun Control

I have to disagree with some of you. He definitely needed to go practice drawing from holster again (retraining), but kicking him off the range is counter productive. I would have also made him finish this part of the training. Is anyone here going to quit if they have an ND when confronting an aggressor? Nope... You'd drive on. As long as the noisy end of that pistol is pointing where it should be, he'd continue mission, then go practice drawing that thing between training exercises till he left.

I would also use him as a learning tool for the rest of the class. Most folks do not practice their draw and this is what happens. That guy probably learned more by that ND than he did anything else that day. If the trainers use this properly, the other trainies get to learn from it too. I bet he keeps that nose picker off the trigger from now on.
