Gun Show

I didn’t mind the ffls. If folks couldn't get a table they should have signed up earlier.
:behindsofa:

I invited several non-members, one was LEO and a couple were new shooters…..they came with their families. They were my guests and I’m glad they came. Neither of the new shooters had ever been to a gun show before yesterday. They spent money too. A couple of them are signing up to be members now that they’ve met folks. I believe the show was a huge success

I sold a lot of little $30 - $80 things to "visitors" and "guests." Their money spends just like a member's.

Yeah I was really disappointed by the number of FFLs that were there. I'm not a big fan. I can go to the gun store any time I want. But when I come to the ODT gun show I want to deal with ODT members. I also heard a number of people say that they tried to get tables but couldn't. I think we need to prioritize members having tables over FFLs.
The FFLs probably were members. I'm good with that. The show is getting popular enough we may need a larger facility in the future. Thing is anyone with a table should have ODT reasonable pricing. Of course there's no way to control that. There were some good deals, but you had to look for them. All in all, still a good show. I hope it keeps getting larger. You certainly can't find a show with quality of people and merchandise for the price of admission

IIRC, there are several FFLs that are members here. They often spend money here on paid advertising, which is more than I do (and perhaps a few more.)

If I saw a table with items on it that did not interest me, I kept walking. I slowed down long enough to make sure I did not overlook something. The Member FFL should have just as much of a chance for a table (or booth) as any other member.
