Any specific materials to avoid? I need a few just to keep the shelf/handling wear down

I spray mine with silicone and use old king sized pillowcases for long term storage. Admittedly they don't sit long. Maybe 6 months or so then I oil, spray them with silicone again and wrap them up again. I use gun socks on longer rifles. I pick them up online when I order other gun related items.
