I like the Bore Stores. They are silicone treated and come in a variety of sizes. I know that High Caliber carries a few socks but your best bet is online. They aren't that expensive. I use one for almost every gun I have. You can get by with the regular gun socks on single shot, no scope bolt and scope less lever guns. However your scope guns and AR guns with optics are definitely going to require the Bore Stores socks. They cost anywhere from 14 to 22 bucks depending on the size.
I have some seventies and Eighties Remington 700 BDL's that look like new and the Bore Stores keep them that way. I think Amazon carries them but refer to the Bore Store website for size requirements.
They have a smooth outside and a thick plush inside for a good thick protective barrier. Probably the best protection you can get for your firearms.

I use these that I pick up from a Mil Surplus store. 100% wool. And they are wide enough that they will over an AR with scope mounted.
