I’ve noticed recently that some companies selling at auction are now collecting taxes based on the shipping address the gun is sent to. Just recently noticed it. I’ve bought from dealers on there in the past and not encountered it.

Guess they’re gonna get their pound of flesh anyway they can. Just never really noticed it. Usually dealt with individuals. Just so happened to notice it in the dealers listing.
Its everywhere. EBAY now does it and technically they're collecting taxes on yard sale stuff buuuuuuut they got their hand forced when all the Chinese sellers showed up.
I thought it was BS. Even sent some possibly rude messages to sellers on GB for price gouging and told them they lost my bid for that reason,alone. I suppose I owe someone an apology. On second thought. Naaah. F**k them.
It would not surprise me to see individuals forced to collect it. Ebay collects for individuals as it is. It’s just legal theft . But they make the laws .
Thats pretty sad.
