Guns For Sale on ODT

Ive gotten some CRAZY filthy rifle from some individuals. Makes me think they started having malfunctions....didnt think the cleanliness was the problem........and decided to sell the rifle.

Project guns are not usually for sale near retail.....I'm talking about guns that are priced high, not advertised as beat up or project guns and obviously neglected or out right just plain nasty. The other side of this is the people that post something as used and put in their post to go look at the website for new ones because we all should know what they look like.......I know what a "New" gun looks like, but I don't know what your used gun looks like. Some idiots think we want to see pictures because we don't know what that model looks like. To me it would be the same as selling a 20 year old truck and telling everyone to Google that model to see what they look like......

I met a guy in here that's treating his gun like a science experiment. I bet that thing hasn't seen a cleaning...ever. Even though I don't care for glock I'll give credit where it's due, his gun is one and it just keeps right on going.

I may be the minority here but I don't care if I get a dirty gun or a clean gun. I always break them down and clean them with CLP as soon as I get home with them anyways. That being said I always clean my guns prior to sale...I forgot to one time though when I was going to meet someone to look at a S&W revolver I had. I forgot that I had taken it to the range the week before because I didn't shoot it, my father did. It was pretty embarrassing.

I always break em down and clean them as well... even if they look perfectly clean, I like to figure out how they work and make sure that everything is oiled as needed :)

things am usually never interested in...

glocks priced over $475, i may as well buy a new one locally for another $20

guns listed as "never fired" because i just know better

guns ive seen sold on here by several different people, as it would seem something is wrong with it since no-one wants to keep it

You're not alone with that thought process. And here I thought I was being too picky:p

A lot of dirty guns floating around. I try to clean mine, although I do recall one time when I had forgotten to clean one before the sale.

The worst one I bought here was a Glock that I started cleaning when I got home and there was GLITTER in all of the internals.
