I do offer a layaway plan for my kidney . Give me the watch and my word of honor is on it that the kidney is yours when needed

While gold watches look awesome on gleaming showcases, they are very impractical. First gold is freaking heavy, and while I love heavy watches, that kind of heavy is not casual, you kind of feel that weight all the time. Second gold is pretty soft metal and that watch, especially polished, accumulates scratches very fast. It's scratched by everything: by coffee cup, by buttons on jacket, by pen, by everything, even a fabric leaves on it shiny traces where it touches it continuously. Third, while I'm ok to pay for expensive watch because of it's mechanical excellence, gold in watches is probably 10 times more expensive that it actually is, because it carries the brand name, so it's very poor investment (buying gold is an investment , as it doesn't add to mechanical quality of movement) and as I mentioned already it will be loosing appearance very quickly.
My 2c.

Agreed . I don’t dig gold traditionally but sometimes the moment calls for a gold watch. I’m stupid so I like to accessorize. When I’m feeling flashy I bust out the gmt desert eagle combo

I am so impressed with this freaking thing, highly recommend if you can find one. The lacquer bezel and hardlex crystal are shunned by those who prefer the durability of ceramic and sapphire, and I get it, but ceramic and sapphire just do not play with the light the way the hardlex and lacquer does. The bezel turns with the feel and precision of a bank vault combination lock and the un-decorated Grand Seiko movement is running within COSC standards. Its pretty cool to have a case with no caseback too...
