Slim, nice divers under $1k are tough. I can find plenty of nice slim divers over $1k and plenty of divers under $1k that are anything but slim. If these were my requirements, I would look at a used Oris 65 diver. There are plenty of different model's to choose from and they are all very nice looking, classy divers. You will be right at the 850-1,000 mark used, and you will have to do some searching, but it will be a diver that you can wear almost anywhere.

Thanks for the Oris 65 recommendation! Also thanks for the watch recon app, I'm waiting for the right 65 to pop up but in the meantime picked up a glycine combat sub. Appreciate the info!

Watch Recon is priceless. Good choice on the Combat Sub. I've had one before, great value. Sold it to an ODTer who wanted to buy a different watch but saw the Glycine once we met up.

Thanks, I will help you find one if you want. I love spending other peoples money. I think I mentioned this before but if you use the Watch Recon app, you can set it up to alert you any time whatever watch you are looking for is posted for sale on any of the watch forums. Its the only way to go when looking for those that are rare and hard to find. In the meantime, I am going to push you a bit more.:becky:

2 questions-
1) I'm looking for the same Tudor. Any recommendations on where to purchase?
2) Where do you buy your straps?

Thanks

I buy pretty much all my watches off WatchUseek.com classifieds using the watchrecon app or webpage to set alerts or search for them.
Most all my straps lately come from Haveston.com (UK) or erikasoriginals.com (Spain) both are located overseas but the payment is simple and the shipping is quick.
