Gunsmith Needed

Not sure where to post this, but I need someone to shorten a 870 20G to 18 1/2" barrel and shorten the stock a bit.

I'd recommend just buying the shorter barrel. Money-wise it may cost slightly more, but it will pattern the way it's supposed to do, unlike a cut down long barrel designed for screw-in chokes. Replacement "bantam length" stocks are cheap too. Swapping the parts out is a breeze.

I'd recommend just buying another barrel also. It'll probably be cheaper that way. The amount of time to set everything up and properly cut and rethread one, no way I could do it for as cheap as a new barrel.

Also you could then sell the old barrel off and make some of that back.
