Just ordered the Sig.

nah...looked at it...too many stories of kabooms and extremely soft plastics

Takes a very big hand to hold it too otherwise I would have kept mine.

I took a p227 tactical for a test drive the other day. I like the gun but there is something about it that I'm not 100% sold on. Might be the ergos. Not sure. And I've owned a p226 and p220. In the end, I'll stick with my HK's and FN's.

I guess my point is, get the one that you are most comfortable with. I have a soft spot for FN ( I'm not sure about the "soft plastics" but most of the ka-booms come from people shooting really bad ammo) but the HK fits my hand and I shoot it the best of any full size .45.

HK45 hands down. Any stories of sub-par customer service are Internet folklore and simply untrue. They're in Columbus, GA and they'll take care of you, absolutely.

It's commonly accepted that recent Sigs aren't as high of quality as the older, German made ones. That made the decision for me.
