Bride is on another medication and I decided to cook some thick Pork Chops and a Squash Souffle. It was nice to eat something with a good taste. I picked the thick Chops from a local butcher not far from where I live..I had a chance to prep all yesterday while she slept.. Probably should have taken a rest at the same time..I put one of my Cast Iron pans to use and did it all over the stove and in the oven...I didn't want to run in and out to the grills, due to possibly waking my Bride up..

I did top the squash with fried onions and browned, just didn't take a pick

Fed my Bride and when I rest for a few, I will make my plate and take a pic..

Yup...looks like some good eats. What I like is buying a pork loin and cutting it up into slabs around 1-1.5" thick and doing them on the grill real quick. Thick chops are so so juicy and delicious.
