If you grind your own, Sam's also has whole sirloin for about $4/lb and you can get pork or beef fat from your local butcher.

I've also been seeing brisket for about $4/lb lately

I make a few hundred pounds of sausage a year, a grinder and a vacuum sealer are now staples in my household that I never knew I needed until I got them

Aldi's sometimes has ground beef rolls for good deals and their ground beef is actually very good. I tend to stay away from store ground and especially rolls, but I do like what Aldi's has if I can get it.
