Harbor Freight Rambo Knife?

That's not a knife....

This is a knife....

Like virtually everything from Harbor Freight, it's unreliable garbage. I'm sure they're more expensive now, but last i checked, the US- made Ontario USAF II knife was around $40. ( I'm plenty pleased and impressed with the one I've had for years.)
Or even one of the woods-craft knives from Condor?
ANYthing but this POS !! ;)

Can't complain about my USAF survival knife. Been in the field many decades. Field dressed every deer I ever took with it. Breaking ribcage and all. At least 60+. Doesn't hold the best edge. But cutting through hair, skin and bone what does. That knife shows very heavy use

Sounds like you must have the original USAFSK , with the leather disc handle? I've had a couple of those, (going back to elementary school in the early 70's, LOL!)
But, my current one is the gen2, with the synthetic handle, and black nylon/leatherscabbard.
It took a minute, but I've got a pretty scary edge on it, now !
