Picked up this hatchet and the only markings say hand made. Was told that was a brand for another company, but not finding anything online.

Hand is an ancient city, located deep in the mountains in Japan.
yep good ole Hand Hatchets, virtually every eskimo and asian had one
Is that where the Hand job originated?
