Just had a crown prep yesterday afternoon. You think the little shots they give you to do a filling are bad? Don't ever get a crown...they give you an injection into the roof of your mouth to numb your gums. Worse yet...better hope you never need a root canal. They turn you into a pin cushion for that procedure.
As someone who never liked shots or needles...the best thing you can do is just close your eyes and let it happen. It's over in a few seconds and you can get on with your life...
