I used to hunt southern zone in Otsego County. It was a shotgun zone, and tough for an out of stater, or anyone to be honest to get a buck. Wide open farmland and plenty of food around. Some big deer, but few and far between. We used to know some residents and became the 2nd name on their doe permits, so we had a better shot at getting a deer. It was nearly impossible to get a doe tag for an out of stater, you had to accumulate points unless you did it that way. I didn't know great deer hunting until I moved down here believe it or not. If you can't fly in, drive up. I leave here at 2am and I'm in Mexico, NY at 6pm when I go fishing. Good luck anyway, Bill.
Good grief!! Only in a communist state.......I could see myself tearing that right off easily. By accident of course. Just more BS they dreamed up. Not to mention, refer to the deer cartoon.......
