I remember those days. Never puked going through but was close a few times.

There were days heading in when I felt like puking knowng what was awaiting me when I got to the company/squadron.

After I finished basic & Ft McMuffin I was a holdover for a month, so I was the staff duty driver. A drill SGT from another company called my staff duty DS and said he was about to smoke 2 PVTs that got drunk in their 4 hour R&R when they were t supposed to have any alcohol. We got there and one guy was puking his guts up and the other guy was just finishing his pushups and he started puking. The DS said “Mmmmm, smells better than Napalm, and the first guy started puking again. Good times .
