Here's a simplified version of Pascal's Wager:
If you believe in God and God exists, you will gain eternal happiness (in Heaven).
If you believe in God and God does not exist, you will have a finite loss (some pleasures or indulgences you may have given up).
If you do not believe in God and God exists, you will have an infinite loss (eternal damnation).
If you do not believe in God and God does not exist, you will have a finite gain (some pleasures or indulgences you may have enjoyed).
If you believe in God and God exists, you will gain eternal happiness (in Heaven).
If you believe in God and God does not exist, you will have a finite loss (some pleasures or indulgences you may have given up).
If you do not believe in God and God exists, you will have an infinite loss (eternal damnation).
