Help me identify this sound - 2007 Suburban 5.3

How many miles on new transmission, was this happening before

My first thought was flex plate, tq conv.

Also could be cavitation in the trans.

Replaced in August and has about 3000 miles after the trip back from Utah. No sound originally. Cropped up in the last week or so.

I'm still going to probe the starter as Cadcom suggested and then try the bell housing again. If I'm not getting the sound through there resonating then I'm inclined to believe it's probably something going on with the fluid. The sound is irritating but it's drivable and no issues with starting, shifting or driving.

Order of operation for me is to tackle easiest to hardest. And dropping the pan and replacing the filter (even though new) and fluid will also show me if there's any debris that shouldn't be there.

My question is if it wasn't doing it before, something had to happened for the fluid to do this? Weather change maybe? Filter seal failure as ChatGPT mentioned?

I saw that in the explanation. It is full. Not sure if overfilled. On my list for this weekend to check before I dump it.

It's plenty loud with the Bose set up. It's my OCD that knows the sound is there and bugging me and other people around me 🤷‍♂️

Iam going with bad filter pickup tube leaking air,

I would clean everything and put the old transmission fluid back in if it's only got 3k on it.
