HELP MILSURP GuRu’s!! Identification and Value

A friend of mine brought this to me and wanted to know anything I could to help him…I know it’s a 30 Carbine, that’s it. I’m not even 100% about that, lol. This rifle has an “Inland MFG, General Motors” stamp at the muzzle. Any education and opinion of value will be most appreciated! Thanks ODT!

She looks like she has some usgi parts, has been refinished and sits in a commercial stock. 800-ish as a shooter, less as a collector

Has it been blued?

It has the rotating safety but no bayonet lug.

Bolt is round like later iterations but shiny - ?

Not sure what the inlay in the stock is.

Looks to me like it it's been sporterized. Metal parts have been reblued, bolt has been polished. The inlay in the stock looks to be where the gi oiler and sling would have passed through the stock and the gi butt plate has been removed.
