Are credit cards regularly accepted by vendors or do I need cash? Are children welcome? Any advice or best best practices for someone going to their first gun show would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome friend!
Most sellers expect cash, there are a few who may take cards. Most ODT folks love children, several tables will even have free stuff for the kids. The exception would be maybe that random evil misbehaving/disrespectful kid lol.

The ODT show is mostly private sellers who rent tables, not established venders. Prices will range from "oh look, what a deal" to "oh look, he's obviously bumped his head". Selection will be pretty good overall.....

But seriously, it's a good time to look, buy, meet new friends, and enjoy yourself. You may even want to post a brief "want to buy" ad beforehand to see if someone may have exactly what you're looking for.

Like already said, if you're talking about the ODT show. Family friendly. I think they have been letting some non-members in off the street

Thank you! Your response is super helpful. I will have to come up with a "wish list" and make an ad.

This is the link to what vendors are bringing, but also what people are looking for. You could post here for what you are looking for. Feel free to bring anything you might want to sell, and carry around. This sounds crazy, but I have pinned a sign on my back with what I was selling. Did this myself long ago at regular gun shows, before they got crazy weird.
Glad you are coming! I'll have a table there, #48, second row against left wall on main floor.
Stop by and say hello. Will have a few guns for sale.
See you there!

Hi, this is my first time seeing at a gun show. Questions:
- Do I need to bring any sales form, like a “bill of sale”, receipt, etc.?
- Will the show provide a chair for each vendor table?
- Any other MUSt knows?
THANK YOU!

First, enjoy yourself.
Most people may frown on a bill of sale. It's your property, do as you please.
They do provide one chair best I know per table
This is a family oriented, members only show

If you're a "vendor" then I would suggest to bring change $$ and T-shirt bags ( grocery/plastic bags)

I would being my own drinks, zip ties and something to cut them with as well. Table covers as well, so as not to scratch or damage anything put on the table.

I also enjoy looking at tables with prices marked already but if you don't price something, don't be mad at a low ball offer. Lol

If you're a vendor, bring a chair. The ones provided, if they even do provide some; are not very comfortable. Like SPAS-12 said, bring some bags for buyers to put small purchases in. Bring some small denomination $$, like ones and fives, for change.
Be flexible on your prices . People love to negotiate.
If selling firearms, make sure to verify buyers is legally allowed to purchase a firearm. Verify age, must be a Georgia resident., not a convicted felon, blah blah blah. Don't be afraid to ask for ID. If they have a Georgia weapons permit, it is a big plus.
Have everything priced. Be reasonable on prices.
Don't be afraid to chat with people, be friendly. We are brothers and sisters together in this to have a good time.
Oh yeah, nothing has been said about food trucks out front, so bring some snacks and drinks.
Most of all we all want to have a great time!
Good luck
Come see me at table 55 and introduce yourself .
Cheers,
