Help with Dan Wesson revolver

It's not a porkchop so it's not an 11, 12, 14 or 15. He said it's a .357 do that rules out 8-2 and 9-2. The 14-2 is the service model and the 15-2 is the target model non-porkchop in .357.

Looks nice though. You ought to get it duracoted black at adventure outdoors. I hear a lot of people doing that now to classic weapons.

I think its a model 14, (fixed sights), it has the standard non vent barrel and standard service type grips.
The model 14 and model 15 from the factory had this setup in 4 inch barrels, the 2 inch barrels typically had the under cover (or small ) grip and the 6+ inch barrel typically had target grips on them.
Barrels could be had in standard, vent, and heavy vent, and length ranges in 2 inch through I think 10 inch.
I owned both the model 14 & 15 and still own a model 41HV.
thats my guess anyway, a model 14.

Early model 14's had the 'porkchop' barrel assembly, this looks like a later model 14 Service revolver.
Probably worth $250, it's a solid shooter but lack of adjustable sights lowers the value and demand.
