Help with decision.

Leupold makes decent scopes but dollar for dollar their scopes are way behind the times. With the exception of the redfield line, every leupold scope is 2x the price of a comparable nikon, burris, etc.

I really like the redfields as well as the Burris MTAC line. The nikon glass is great but they tend to have little adjustment.

Take a look at the opticstalk forum. I suspect you will find something that suits you and still have some cash to put towards a bow.

On the bow, I bought a mission ballistic. Its a great shooter.

Heres one to take a look at.

I thought the faster the bow the better? The faster you launch it the more kinetic energy it will have, or does it not matter since it's just slicing through anyways?
Speed is not everything with a bow, shot placement is. Set it to a comfort level for you. A good broadhead is also very important, for me I only use Spitfire 100 grain. Stay away from anything with rubber bands cause they can fail ya. That's all I have used for 8 years.
