help with older gun info

Hey guys I have a Rem Fieldmaster 572 it has the following numbers on it, 1751632 stamped onto the reciever, 2,675,638 2.751.702-2.815.602 patent#, DX 68 on barrel, RepF on barrel.
Blue barrel with walnut stock. I have tried to find info on this using google with no luck. I am hoping someone here can help me please.
Any and all info appriciated.

Not a lot of info but it is still in production

If your stock is checkered it's a current production rifle. If it's NOT checkered it went out of production in 1988. Nice little pump rifle.
