Help with picking a new edc

[HD39]

I have 3 specific firearms in mind right now for new edc. I currently mainly swap between a shadow systems mr920 and a cz p10c. Own many others but don’t carry them vs being a car backup or nightstand pistol

the 3 narrowed down are:
Canik TTI combat
Walther pdp pro sd
Springfield Echelon

I havent had a chance to shoot any of them but have been able to hold and dry fire the walther and springfield And I love both but eventually will purchase all 3 just not at once.

At the moment the pdp pro sd and canik are at the top for me but the canik is slowly pulling away as the #1 for me especially with a comp under 1000.
One thing I don’t like is the fact that I have to contact walther just to get the optic plate and from what I’ve heard it’s not the fastest service but I do love that trigger

I bought a pdp-f for my wife. It’s a fantastic pistol. It handles better than my Canik and the trigger is really good for a striker.

What are you trying to accomplish? Are you carrying in an NPE? what requirements do you have for the gun?

Agreed, the trigger on the pdp is awesome. I haven’t felt the pdp trigger personally but the pdp pro flat face feels great. Fresh out the box I’d say about 4.5lbs with an awesome reset

What am I trying to accomplish, just a newer weapon system that’ll run an optic on daily and shoot every weekend at south river.
I love my p10c however I’ll be sending it out for milling once I get my new weapon.
The mr920 has been in my room, apx in my theater and 2 others just around the house.

I just bought a jakl for my car, have a few other ar’s and a beautiful suppressed.300 and a dp12

I reco whichever u can shoot very accurately in 7-10 yards. I've shot pistols that feel very good in the hands but I can't get a good grouping on target.

As for round count...I just need 7. Don't need a 10,12 or 17 rounds.

It's shot placement that matters for me..

Fully agree. I’m not a new shooter and no I don’t NEED 18 or 21 from the TTI

I found a place that claim 5 business days but the expedited service is an additional $300 and I don’t feel it’s worth it.

Most of my handguns are 15-18. I’d love a 2011 as a Christmas present to myself 🎉

2011 is a great option. I replaced my 17 with a staccato p and haven't looked back.

I was TOLD I was getting an FN510 for my 40th next month from the young lady I’m dating. We’ll see
10mm ammo isn’t exactly affordable when buying bulk ammo and if I get into a defensive situation again (have been 2x unfortunately) I’d hate to see what a 10mm does to flesh but meh.. if it happens it happens. Wasn’t exactly pretty when I had to last defend myself with my 19x with Lehigh ammo in it 🫣
I’ve since given that 19x to my mom along with my xdm9

I agree… I have more issues (nothing major) with 2011’s than I have with my VP9. At 3-10 yards, I don’t shoot one any better than the other. Therefore, I carry my vp9. As a bonus, I won’t be as upset if the popo needs to hold it pending any investigation

I’d LOVE A STACCATO…It’s just hard to spend 3100 on a handgun when I can buy a jakl, TTI and an additional shotgun for the same price or less
I’ve seen some other 2011s in a much nice price bracket but they aren’t staccato’s…like a tisas 1911-9ds, prodigy and a few others
